So Sorry

So, I am pretty sure I forgot all about this blog... oops! Taking up space in cyber-land and totally not even knowing it! Please forgive me?? I am going to update this thing more often! I won't promise you that because I don't want to lie and let you down! So, not right now, but I will keep you updated! Lots (I mean LOTS!) have changed since my last post!

Keep checking back for more updates!

Book Review!

So, last week I finished The Shack, after the subtle hint from my mom (she bought the book and sent it to me!) It was a great read and I highly recommend it! I don't want to say to much to give anything away, but just keep an open mind and read away! You can find it here www.theshackbook.com

I am now on to reading 'i heart bloomberg' by Melody Carlson. Its pretty good so far. I have a soft spot for a good girly novel!

So Michael and I had a great weekend! We went exploring in Anderson SC to the Jockey Lot, probably one of the largest flea markets ever! We were once again tempted to get a puppy... what else is new, but we resisted! We saw some neat stuff and felt a little unsafe walking down an aisle full of hunting paraphernalia... eek!

I also started (and finished) another bag, the frenchy tote by amy butler... i used amy butler fabrics too, it is adorable and I am having a hard time sending it to Nicki! Picures soon! I think i am also going to start straying away from paterns, to make some things i can actually sell. so far all i have made without a pattern are square totes... time for something with a little more shape...

A new First Post

Well, it has been a while since my last post... a long while! I have gotten so into blogging and my Google Reader, that i decided to keep writing on my own blog... I think i have a few things to say and share with you all! I have been doing a bunch of sewing recently and I am waiting on more fabric (which is in the mail Yeah!) to do some more. I will put pictures up as soon as i am not blogging at work... oops... well, the phones aren't busy and I don't have too much else to do!

So Michael and I have been married now for almost 4 months, it has been absolutely amazing! I could never ask for a better husband! Last night when i burnt my hand on a baking pan he did everything he possibly could to make me feel better! He held me as I cried and got mascara all over his white tee shirt (hopefully I can shout that out) and got me an plastic ice cube (thanks Brit Smith) for my badly blistered hand! He is amazing!

We are constantly amazed by the way God has been providing for our new family, after me being out of work for a week, with no income (I guess that is what out of work would mean) He sent us 1 and possible 2 new weddings to shoot and one sent her deposit in already which was very helpful! What a Great Provider!

So, I guess that's it for today... hopefully I will be posting pictures of what I have been making recently!!
